Dry Needling
Our approach to dry needling involves careful placement of a needle into one or more muscles at various locations. We often pair this technique with electric stimulation attached to the needle though a clip, to create an effect called neuromodulation.
Neuromodulation involves sending signals created by the presence of the needle/electrical stimulation back to your central nervous system. This signaling helps to support our bodies’ healing by promoting muscle relaxation, pain reduction, decreasing local swelling, and restoring function. Following your initial consultation, we can discuss whether this cash-based service is an appropriate addition to your treatment and recovery.
